Joseph Kusnick
Joseph Kusnick is the founding Principal of AE Greyson. He has more than 40 years of combined architectural and high-end residential construction experience. His philosophy is to be on the jobs daily working hand in hand with the site superintendents, the project managers and the various tradesmen called in for their expertise. This “hands-on” approach allows for a seamless integration of the project as well as ensuring museum-quality results.
Mr. Kusnick’s completed projects include: the Barry Residence for Annabelle Selldorf, the Einbender Residence at the former Police Building for Charles Gwathmey, a private residence for Richard Meier at The Perry Street Towers, the Sant Residence for Thomas Pheasant, Inc.
Prior to founding A E Greyson, Mr. Kusnick worked in the offices of Kohn Pedersen Fox, Ulrich Franzen and with Paris-Based Andrée Putman of ECART. He is uniquely positioned among builders to understand the most highly sophisticated projects from an architectural point of view. In this regard, he’s transformed the building trade into a professional custom service, achieving the highest standards of building excellence and commitment to service in each of his projects.
Born and raised in Miami – Coral Gables, Florida, Mr. Kusnick earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree with a focus on New Urbanism studying with Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk.
